The pleasant sound of rain pitter-pattered on the foggy glass, like fingernails on the sturdy window pane. Her lips parted as a sigh escaped from her lungs and on to the blurred picture of herself. Clear trails of wet tears stained her porcelain cheeks as her glassy eyes reverted to the dark green wallpaper of the unlit room. She sniffed, her slender legs trudged to the queen sized bed not too far from there.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

The voice of her only best friend worrying through the thick mahogany door was heard. She sat on the comforter, listening to him with a bored expression washing over her face. “Hey, it’s Jimin. Your mom called me earlier today to come see what the problem you’re having. Are you okay at least? Don’t leave me out here.” The sound of the handle jiggling through the other side filled her ears besides the soft sound of rain. His voice came back up, “Please open this door so we can sort things out!” Her jaw clenched as her body was fully straight, sock-covered feet directed towards the entrance of the room. She rolled her eyes at the annoyance of his presence.

One hand was wiping away excess tears while the other was on the golden handle. As the door wasn’t even a quarter open, Jimin pushed his way inside the room, eyes searching his surroundings. Jimin’s brown orbs landed on her small figure, his strong arms immediately wrapped around her. Her body stiffened as soon as his touch and body heat were all over her. The look on her pretty little face was full of disgust as her palms roughly shoved the orange haired male a good distance away. She was panting, her heartbeat increasing every second.

“What’s wrong…?” Jimin softly spoke, him making his way slowly. He didn’t want to scare her, but the way she’s acting seems like it. She held up her right palm which made Jimin stop dead in his tracks. Her icy eyes went upward from his perfectly shaped jawline, to his plump pink lips, his defined button nose, and to his worrisome almond-shaped eyes. With narrowed eyes and curled fists, she figured everything about Park Jimin, her so called “best friend”. He could never be trusted ever again.

The next words said by her, coldly pierced his chest. “You deceived me so easily, Park Jimin. You manipulated me into believing that I was in danger and that someone was out there to slaughter me. You kept me up in this hellhole for how long?” Her voice came into a whisper, “Why the hell would I ever trust a murderer like you?”
